Ngataki grower Grant and wife Samantha have been growing avocados for over 10 years on their two orchards – Waikopu Avocados and Henderson Bay Avocados. Grant was previously a dairy farmer in Hukerenui and after deciding to move on from this industry he got advice to look further north for land to plant avocados. Grant is very handy on earthmoving equipment and has successfully contoured his land and developed a high density planting yielding upwards of 25T per hectare consistently. He is a strong grower advocate with high standards for accountability within the Just Avocados team and the avocado industry.
