- We have had very pleasing results out of Asia so far this season, which has seen all targets met across Korea, Thailand and Southeast Asia.
- We recognise the importance of the Korea and China markets, which has seen us make strategic decisions this season with a focus on the season ahead. This has set up these markets to take large volumes early in the 2019/20 season.
- Our retail programme continues to make significant progress this season, which has resulted in a zero knockout rate and volumes exceeding forecasted commitments. This is extremely pleasing, and a credit to our team in Australia, as it further strengthens our relationship with retail and puts us in a very strong position moving forward.
- Our new business model has given us a significant advantage over competitors this season, especially as we move towards the end of the season and fruit maturities increase. Our ability to move fruit through the supply chain four to six days faster is a massive contributing factor behind the success we have had in to retail with no knockouts to date.
- The speed at which the fruit is getting through the supply chain has meant the fruit quality our team is experiencing is significantly better than others in the market. Our team in Australia has had a 1.8% grade out rate versus competitors with over 15% in some cases.
- Our continued ability to exceed retail commitments in Australia has meant our exposure to the weakened wholesale market over the past 3-4 weeks has been minimal.
- We would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout the year and wish you all a safe and merry Christmas from the Just Avocados team.
